Due to continued growth in our NSW Office Rail Sector, we are looking for a confident estimating professional with 10 years experience plus to join our successful team.

Candidates will be expected to possess knowledge and skills attained during your previous work experience as a PQS or Civil Engineer within the Rail / PQS or consultancy and/or engineering industry (not a suitable role for a contractor background dealing in post contract work only).

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the ability to:

Key Duties:

• Preparing, submitting and managing key rail and /or Infrastructure project estimates from scratch (Greenfield) including earthworks, track, signalling, power, overpasses, bridge work, tunnels, stations etc
• Pre Contract estimates - First principals estimating experience essential (preferably with a contractor)
• Liaising with commercial team members and stakeholders Continuing to add value/adjust internal system
• Ability to work autonomously or lead a small project team

Key Background:

• Track record in rail infrastructure services and maintenance
• Experience on major rail projects and alliances
• Previous exposure to rail project estimation essential
• Quantity Surveying Degree; Engineering Degree(Civil) or similar

As a Rail Estimator you will be working very closely with the delivery and commercial teams across key stakeholders.
